This mixed-media exploration of the weight and tension experienced by marginalized identities within rigid societal hierarchies. Using clay, craft cord, acrylic, and oil paint, the piece physically manifests the strain of existing at the intersection of multiple oppressions. Through weighted textiles and taut string, it captures the feeling of being both bound and suspended—caught between acceptance and alienation, never fully at rest.
